The trees are placed in the gathering space from the third week of November until mid-December.
Summer Giving Baskets Each summer our parish collects school supplies for families served by Lee’s Summit Social Services and our parish programs. Collections baskets are placed in the gathering space the first weekend of July through mid-July. For more information contact the Religious Education office at 251-1135
El Salvador Committee Our Lady of the Presentation entered into a partnership of friendship and hope with the people of the community of San Rafael Cedros, El Salvador in 2006. The El Salvador Committee works to foster this partnership as they coordinator sponsors for school students and provide education about life in El Salvador to our parish. The El Salvador Committee meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. For more information contact the Religious Education office at 251-1135
Pro-Life Group The Pro-Life Group meets the second Tuesday of the month to plan and coordinate Pro-Life awareness and events in the parish including the annual Roses for Life campaign in January. Contact person: Andrea Harrington.
Lee’s Summit Social Services Food Drive A food drive is held the first full weekend of every month. (If the first weekend is a holiday weekend, the drive is held the second weekend that month.) All donated food is delivered to the food pantry at Lee’s Summit Social Services, an organization that helps the less fortunate in our community. Watch the bulletin for details of particular food items needed each month. Donations should be placed in the south side of the gathering space.
