Religious Education - Baptism
Infants (newborn to age 7) - Infant Baptisms are on the first and second Saturdays of the month following the 4:30 p.m. Mass and also the third and fourth Sundays of the month following the Noon Mass. When there is a fifth Saturday or Sunday in a month, Baptisms are done during the Mass. Two mandatory* Infant Baptism Preparation Session for parents are required prior to your child’s baptism.
Registration for the session must be done in person at the Parish Office by the Monday prior to the session you wish to attend. Both parents are requested to attend, even if one is not Catholic. Baptisms may be scheduled following attendance of the second preparation session. To schedule a baptism, contact Eileen Whiting at (816) 251-1100.
Older children (over age 7) - For information regarding the process for preparing older children for Baptism, contact the Religious Education Office.
*(Parents who participated in a preparation session and had an infant baptized within the previous two years are not required to participate in another session.)
